A lazy blog, or two about eBay and the recent UK VAT change.
By DBL | November 28, 2008
The first of two lazy blogs, why? Because it’s Friday and I’m on wind down for a trip to the UK capital tomorrow without any form of email communication, Tamebay, blogs, ebay, facebook, twitter you name it, I’m without it so it’s very much a detox.
The first of the two has to be about an amusing article written by Dan Wilson about the recent changes in VAT from 17.5% and 15% and eBay.
It seems that, as usual, eBay are being rather unsympathetic regarding the scale of work involved in implementing this proposed credit crunch defying government change. Read Dan’s blogand find out the ins and outs, it describes eBay’s take perfectly
Then, just as I thought I’d finished my lazy blog, it seems eBay may be listening to it’s former employee as Tamebay come up with this post, yes, they are refunding all affected VAT change listings.
Mmmm, they have ears
Anorak is on wind down for jollies, serves me right for trying to do a lazy blog, there’s no such thing, or is there? :)
