Lewes Pound for sale on ebay
By DBL | September 15, 2008
The Lewes Pound launched on September 10, a new form of currency that can be exchanged for goods in shops in the town of Lewes, Sussex here in the UK. The Lewes pounds can be bought for the price of £1 each and if you bought £20 worth you got an extra 2 Lewes pounds free.
The BBC News reported this morning that Lewes pounds are now for sale on ebay at up to £31 for a set of 2 consecutive numbers and more likely to fetch more. Lewes are now considering releasing another 10,000 so if you have any, get them up for sale on ebay with international visibility before the market is flooded!
