Albert Hall Tickets and AC/DC Tickets on eBay, which would you buy?

The BBC website has an interesting article regarding tickets being sold on ebay.

What’s new with that I hear you ask? Well, this article from Radio 4’s You and Yours program is about free concert tickets allocated to exclusive club memberships somehow finding their way onto the ebay site, one of which highlited was the buyer ID alberthalltickets who had nothing to do with the albert hall and selling such tickets at inflated prices. The T&C’s on these memberships and tickets are usually marked as NOT FOR RESALE.

Also today, AC/DC tickets went on sale at 10am and were sold out in no time limited to 2 tickets per application. This is the first tour for 10 years and maybe their last so they are hot  stuff.

I’ve got my two and I’m firmly holding on to them, 507 lots of AC/DC tickets on eBay up for sale at this point already and the cost is unreal, up to £265 for 2 tickets that I paid £93.95 for this morning including P&P etc.

I know ‘supply and demand … ‘ etc but ebay have got to make up their mind on ticket sellers or even ‘proper’ ticket sellers should sell on ebay (as other big firms are now doing) aswell as their own sites, using Buy It Now instead of people making money from the real fans who have followed this band for decades and getting ripped off by people making a fast buck!

Anoraks question is, who would you pay £265 for two tickets to see?

Anorak zipped with ticket comfirmation email in inside pocket close to heart and worth it’s weight in gold … priceless 😉
