Average £8k p.a. sales on ebay for houses in this UK Street?

    By DBL | December 16, 2008

While anorak surfed Auntie Beeb’s site this morning, as one does, I came across a film snippet about a week old about a street in Basingstoke that is the epicentre of ebay selling.  It was estimated that this street with nine houses in it, sold £74k worth of goods on eBay last year from bits and bobs around the house.  That’s a stagering average of £8k per house last year.

I have read that everyone has an average of £2-3k of items in their house to sell at any one time, so this is not so surprising apart from the fact that nine houses in one street sold that much and were on the telly makes me wonder if Mr T. Axman is interested too 🙂

Anorak gets back to listing for her slice, what did you sell last?

    😉
